ARE YOU AWARE?

I once heard a story of a man who boarded a flight for the first time and did not know he was entitled to the food and drink offered on board the plane. All through the flight, he was hungry and since he did not have enough money in his wallet; he did not beckon on the air hostess. He thought he was supposed to pay for the meals served on board. I can only imagine how he felt when he got off the plane to realize food offered was free… Heartbreak without repairs. Lol.

The book of Hosea 4: 6 says My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.

Isaiah 5:13 also says, my people are gone into captivity because they do not have knowledge: and their honorable men are famished, and their multitude dried up with thirst. There are scriptural truths, taught in churches, but we struggle to believe them. The fact is, even if you do not believe in these sayings, these truths EXIST; and many are walking into the realities. Are you aware that Romans 15: 4 states everything written in the past was written to teach us so that through the endurance taught in the Scriptures and the encouragement they provide we might have hope.

God’s word is true and yea; He does not renege on His word, not a minute late, or a second late. Once said, then it’s done. Understanding the integrity of God takes patience and continuous work to come to the reality of His word. This is where the relationship with the Holy Spirit comes in. You cannot understand the scriptures without the help of the Holy Spirit. He is here to teach and guide us in all things.

Dear Friend, the benefits of the believer are scattered everywhere in the bible, and it takes a diligent heart to search out these truths. Sometime into my walk with God, I realized certain scriptures that sounded like stories suddenly became clearer to me and I could relate with what I was reading.

Are you aware the word of God is Spirit and life? The more you interact with the word, the Spirit in the word transforms your inner man and quicken your mortal body making you alive to God.

Are you a Christian reading this post, when was the last time you interacted with the Spirit in the word of God? In simpler terms, when was the last time you read the bible? Are you aware you cannot be alive to God without reading the bible?

Dear Friend, do you see the bible as a storybook? And you have not given a thought to reading through the book. I encourage you to pick up one and ask the Holy Spirit to breathe upon the pages and make it alive to your inner man.

This is a call to grab the bible and feed on it. You become what you feed your mind with. Until I catch up with you again, dwell in 2^nd Timothy 2:15.
