Listening to a preacher who said that time is the unit of life. I can also state that time is the block of life.
Yes, Time is the unit of life. Every microsecond makes up the entire 24 hours that make up the day and the 365 days that make up the year. Now the question. What value have you placed on every second of your day?
I have been swamped with a project that has taken my time and day. Thereby, making it somewhat difficult to interact here as I should.
My dear reader, today I wish to share the thoughts of King Solomon in the book Ecclesiastics 3:1-8. This portion of the Bible tries to explain that there is time for everything under the sun. It is important to make the most of your time. We should not be sleeping when we should be working also, we should not be working when we should be sleeping. There is a time allotted to everything under the earth.
Just like the scripts in a movie set, all scenes are perfectly arranged to ensure no one comes too soon or later than it should appear on the screen. This is what makes a perfect and enjoyable movie to watch.
As usual my friend, I will always bring you back to the reason behind everything that exists and will ever exist. JESUS. Our time on earth is gradually ticking and we must make the most of it. 2nd Corinthians 5:10 says For we [believers will be called to account and] must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may be repaid for what has been done in the body, whether good or bad [that is, each will be held responsible for his actions, purposes, goals, motives—the use or misuse of his time, opportunities and abilities].
We will give an account of how we used our time on Earth. Moreso, how we use it while here determines how we will continue at the other side of time called eternity.
Dear Friend, a walk with Jesus is the sure guarantee of life after here. If you come across this write-up and have not considered a relationship with Jesus, please give it a thought because the end is closer than we can assume. The book of Matthew 24: 36-42 explains that no one knows the time of the coming of our Lord except the Father.
