AS WE BECOME.

Young ladies understand how useful the mirror is, especially when told to clear a spot on their face. This cannot be possible without the use of a mirror. Some ladies ensure a little mirror is in their bag as they go about their daily activities. The men are also not excluded from the use of the mirror. They need it to appreciate their looks as well.

The use of the mirror cannot be overemphasized. There is a mirror in the car, airplane, the pub, the restroom, in our various houses, and even a motorcycle has a mirror. The invention of the mirror dates to the 19th century, about 8,000,000 years ago when the people of Anatolia — modern-day Turkey manufactured mirrors out of the ground and polished obsidian (volcanic glass). Although it is believed that mirrors have been around for a long time, as can be seen by the fact that still pools, and reflective surfaces all send us features of our images.

Our image is either enhanced or appreciated the way it is when we look in the mirror. Ever heard that every physical experience has a spiritual parallel? Yes, this is true! The book of 2nd Corinthians 3:18 states that …We all with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord. The verses preceding this described how the children of Israel would cover their faces while reading the Old Testament due to the situation around how it was given. The face of Moses was so radiant that he had to cover his face with a veil to speak to the Israelites.

Dear Friend, your relationship with Christ and constant reading of His word bring you to the position where you behold His glory. It becomes certain that you begin to see places that need enhancement and those that need adjustment. We gradually become like Christ. The word of God is the mirror of the believer. IT HELPS YOU SEE!

Are you reading this and have not considered living your life through the mirror of the word of God? I encourage you to make that decision today. This post is like someone saying to you to check the spot on your face. This time, I am asking you to check the spot on your garment. The word of the Lord says that Christ is coming back to take a church without spot or wrinkle. How will you know if there are spots or wrinkles? You can only get this through accepting Jesus and daily living by HIS WORD.

Do you need guidance? there are several Bible believing churches where you are. Just make a prayer and ask Jesus to lead you, and you will be surprised at what happens next.

God bless you.
