I silently asked myself what I should share on my page, but for some reason, I wasn’t getting anything.
I was still reading my Bible and getting personally inspired, but as I mentioned in one of my earlier posts, I only share what I am led to share. And usually, I don’t just receive the topic; I also get an idea of the feature image that should accompany the post.
The image in this post came into my mind alongside this topic, and I knew it was for someone.
Some time ago, I shared how I got my miracle. I constantly confessed what I wanted to see. This particular miracle concerned something happening in my body.
The nurse told me not to worry: “The thing will go.”
Unfortunately, the thing refused to go.
It lingered until I joined an online service. I will stop there for now… You can read the full story in my previous post here.
Today, however, I want to talk about keeping your miracle.
The enemy is an expert at trying to steal what God has freely given you.
The truth is, when your miracle happens, it can completely overwhelm your mind. You may find yourself wondering, “Did this really happen?”
In fact, it is unbelievable!
But that moment of celebration can sometimes be short-lived if we are not careful, because the enemy will try to introduce doubt, fear, and confusion.
John 10:10 says:
“The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the fullest.” — NIV
The immediate context of this passage is Jesus contrasting Himself with thieves, robbers, and false shepherds. Yet we also understand from Scripture that the enemy’s agenda is destruction, while Christ came to give us life.
So, what do we do after we receive our miracle?
We fill ourselves with the Word of God.
Remember what Jesus said in Matthew 12:43–45 about an unclean spirit leaving a person and later returning. If it finds the house empty, swept and put in order, it returns with seven other spirits more wicked than itself.
There is a lesson here for us.
Deliverance should not leave us spiritually empty.
When God does something miraculous in your life, don’t just celebrate the miracle. Fill yourself with His Word.
Continue to declare God’s Word over your life. Continue to stand on what He has said. Continue to strengthen your faith.
Even when you cannot immediately see the evidence, keep filling your spirit, soul, and body with the truth of God’s Word.
The enemy may come back with suggestions:
“Are you really healed?”
“Has the issue actually been resolved?”
“What if it comes back?”
“Are you sure God really did this?”
Those are the moments when you need something stronger than your feelings to stand on.
Ephesians 6:16 says:
“Take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one.”
But how do we build this faith?
Romans 10:17 tells us:
“Faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word…”
So, when the enemy shoots the dart of doubt, you don’t have to answer based on how you feel.
You answer based on what God has said. I must say that when I held on to the testimony in that online service and continue confessing my miracle, I started feeling more pains than usual. I took my medications but I never stopped confessing the word.
You have to answer with the Word you have been filling yourself with.
You remind yourself of what God has done.
You stand.
You keep believing.
You keep declaring His Word.
Don’t just receive your miracle. Learn to stand in the faith that helped you receive it.
My dear reader, if you have not made Jesus the Lord of your life, you may read everything I have written here and wonder what I am talking about.
The Bible says in 1 Corinthians 1:18:
“For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.”
The life of faith begins with Jesus.
If you have never surrendered your life to Him, I invite you today to begin a relationship with Him. He is not simply the One who gives miracles; He is the Miracle Worker, the Saviour, and the One who gives us life.
Whatever God has done for you, don’t allow fear and doubt to steal your joy.
Fill yourself with His Word. Stand in faith. Keep your eyes on Jesus.
See you soon.
God bless you.
